When I Was a Four-Year-Old Little Girl…

My dad snapped the picture above when I was just four years old. I could barely hold his big, cumbersome camera in my tiny hands, but the moment I peeked through that lens… I was captivated. The world looked magical up close, and I knew—even then—that capturing memories would always be a love of mine.

Some of my sweetest childhood days were spent in my Gram’s cozy kitchen. Every morning, I’d climb up onto the counter and watch her lovingly make bread and sweets for her five children… and for me. She’d pour me a tiny cup of milk with just a drop of coffee and a sprinkle of sugar, and together we would “cheers” to another day of creating something special. Her kitchen was warm, joyful, and filled with the kind of love that stays with you forever.

Those two passions—capturing moments and creating something from the heart—followed me into adulthood and inspired me to build Chatty Cricket Cake Pops & Magnets. My dream was to create an online boutique that reflects my love for storytelling, memory-keeping, and handmade treasures.
